C League is co-ed and is intended to provide the members of the JPL/Caltech community with a non-competitive outlet to enjoy softball while meeting and socializing with other members of the community.

C League generally follows standard slow-pitch softball rules as codified by rulebooks (available by paper copy only) published by the Southern California Municipal Atheletic Federation (SCMAF).

C League also has a number of special league rules designed to make the game more interesting and balanced. And the JPL Softball Program has some additional rules that apply to all leagues:
