| Who are we? The Wild Turkeys Softball Team. We play in the JPL softball C-league and have been a registered team for no less than 30 continuous years. Starting as a team of players from two Sections (336/339), we have since matricluated to many different organizations in the subseuqent time period. In fact, neither of the original Sections exists today as they did all those years ago. We have a strong core of players (who are getting older!) and add younger players each year so that the team may continue.

Our purpose is to have fun. Winning is fun. Beer and pizza is fun. And most importantly, friendship and fellowship is fun. We like to bring interesting people onto our team regardless of skill level, so call or write our Manager, Sam, if you're interested in joining us. We don't always have openings, but we love hearing from you.
We have a "rally mascot"...the Turkey Toy that purrrrssss like a turkey when squeezed. Traditionally, it is only brought out in time of need. Usually near the end of a game where we are closing on our opponents. It's fun to squeeze and beats an upside down baseball cap!
