Ashley comes to us as a summer intern. She is a senior engineering student at the University of Michigan and works with Hannah.
Ashley has played several games with us at the time of this writing, and, while petit and unassuming, can really play the game. Check out the pictures of her at the ready! She has shown an ability to play third base, putting out runners with a quick release of the ball to first. At short field, Ashley has a good move for the ball and has made difficult catches look routine.
We welcome Ashley to our team this summer and hope she has a fun time with us.

UPDATE 1/1/2007! Ashley gets engaged! Here is the text of the message I recieved on New Year's day 2007.
Hi Everyone!
Phil and I just wanted to say Happy New Year to everyone, and to tell you some exciting news :) We have been stranded in Tucumcari, NM for 3 days due to the largest storm to ever hit NM - but last night right before midnight, in the middle of a big party with all of our new friends who were also stranded, Phil proposed, so now we are engaged!! :) We are hopefully getting out of town today, and finally making it to California (so that we aren't spending another day in the Lizard Lounge here at the hotel, haha). We hope you all have a great new year! (We attached a few pictures from last night!)
