You do...or you wouldn't be looking at this page! So, what is there to look at? The Turkeys have been a team since 1981. Our manager, Sam, has kept records of nearly every game for all of these years.

Defensive Position Stats show the number of innings played by each player at each position throughout the year. Defensive position stats have been compiled for 2006 and for 1981 through 1990 and part of 1991. Defensive position stats for other recent years will be available soon.

Batting Stats showing "runs, hits, errors, on base percentage, home runs, slugging percentage, etc.," have been compiled for the 1981-1990 seasons and part of 1991.

Sam has indicated a reluctance to produce this type of batting stat any further. His reasoning is that it only goes to illustrate the disparity in skill levels between those who could be on an A-league team and those who have absolutely no ball playing experience but want to have as much fun as the next person. He rightfully sees that even the inexperienced players bring something to the table with respect to C-league that aren't captured in the usual baseball stats.

For players who wish to know their batting stats for a season, all of the batting data is available in excruciating detail, but it will be up to each individual player to compile his/her own totals from the raw data. Play-by-Play Game Summaries for every game in an entire season have been compiled into tables for all seasons from 2006 onward and part of 2005. It is an ongoing project to create game summaries from the raw scoresheets recorded for previous seasons as well.

Note that the game summaries and the raw scoresheets also include the Wild Turkeys' inning-by-inning defensive position assignments and the play-by-play action when our opponents are at bat. Thus, an interested player can use the opponent's offensive plays in conjunction with our defensive lineup to recall exactly how that great play you made unfolded. Or you can also be reminded of your errors!
