Debbie joined the team just 2 years after it was founded. Like most of us, she had not played much softball. Experience is the key here. Now Debbie is our number one first baseman. She can catch most anything thrown her direction...as long as it's not over her head! Sure handed, Debbie has been on the tail end of many hot throws for the double play. Adding to this is her ability with the bat. She gets on base more often than not and knows how to run the bases.
Debbie keeps her eye on the ball as she approaches third. Debbie's hitting has taken a quantum leap forward. Many more stand-up-doubles in sight for her this year.
She will need to grow another foot to guarantee catching Mark's throws from shortstop!
