Rich is the original Wild Turkey. This team owes its very existance to Rich who after a group of players decided to make the permanent move to B-league (as The Last Gasp) leaving many to continue in the "fun league". Rich was the manager of the team in 1981 and 1982, giving them the moniker that stays with them today. When asked where the name came from the answer is, "it's simple...my favorite bourbon!"
