This is C-league...who really cares about stats?
You do...or you wouldn't be looking at this page! So, what is there to look at? The Turkeys have been a team for 25 years. Our manager, Sam, has kept stats for nearly all of these years. Many of the stats are in the starndard format that shows offensive prowress, in other words, "runs, hits, errors, on base percentage, home runs, slugging percentage, etc." Sam is pulling these stats together for inclusion on this site.
You can also see the historical defensive stats from 1981-1991! (Yes! Many of our current team weren't even around during this period! Go see who played where.) The offensive stats are currently available only in .pdf format. Tabluar versions will be published as they are gathered and compiled.
In the mean time he has indicated a reluctance to produce this type of stat any further. His reasoning is that it only goes to illustrate the disparity in skill levels between those that could be on an A-league team and those that have absolutely no ball playing experience but want to have as much fun as the next person. He rightfully sees that even the inexperienced players bring something to the table with respect to C-league that aren't captured in the usual baseball stats. Instead, we will make this page a one-stop-shopping for viewing the offensive playsheet for both teams and defensive positions for our team for each game...the same ones that appear in each game report. The interested person can use the opponent offensive plays in conjunction with our defensive lineup to recall exactly how that great play you were in unfolded. Yes, you will have to learn Sam's shorthand to interpret the offensive stats, but what the heck...if you're interested in the stats you might as well learn his syntax.
2006 was a great year. The stats for last season can be found here.
